Bio

Dr Bryanna Andrews is a veterinary surgeon currently working with the People’s Dispensary for Sick Animals (PDSA) in Swansea, Wales. A graduate of the Royal (Dick) School of Veterinary Studies at the University of Edinburgh, she brought a unique international perspective to the UK veterinary world after training as a veterinary technician in the United States.

Prior to vet school, Bryanna earned undergraduate degrees at UC Davis—a top-tier US institution—and served as a veterinary technician, where she cultivated hands-on experience and a love for clinical care. This background strengthened her adaptability and communication skills, particularly highlighted during her qualification and early career amidst the COVID 19 pandemic.

Since 2021, Bryanna has been part of the PDSA family—Britain’s leading veterinary charity offering free, high-quality healthcare to pets whose owners face financial hardship. She provides both medical care and compassionate client communication in a busy charity practice setting
