Bio

Alison graduated from the University of Edinburgh in 1999. She completed an equine internship at the Animal Health Trust in Newmarket and then worked in equine practice for 3 years before undertaking a residency in equine diagnostic imaging at the University of Bristol. After a further time in equine practice Alison joined the clinical team at the University of Liverpool Equine Hospital in 2009. Alison is currently a senior lecturer in equine orthopaedics at the University of Liverpool and is a diplomate of the American college of Sports medicine and rehabilitation (equine) and of the European college of veterinary diagnostic imaging. Alison also acts as an FEI official veterinarian in the disciplines of show jumping and dressage. In her spare time Alison enjoys riding her own warmblood show jumping mare and walking her rather exuberant 2 year labrador.
