Bio

Dr. Alicia Long received her doctorate of veterinary medicine from the Virginia Maryland College of Veterinary Medicine. After this she completed her first internship at Rhinebeck Equine in New York, followed by another internship rotating between the Large Animal Internal Medicine department at the Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine at Tufts University and the Massachusetts Equine Clinic, an ambulatory private practice. She completed a residency in Large Animal Internal Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania’s New Bolton Center in 2021, and is currently a fellow in Large Animal Emergency and Critical Care at New Bolton Center.
