Bio

Alex is a farm animal vet, currently working as a lecturer at the University of Edinburgh. He has worked in clinical practice in Northamptonshire, Cheshire and Midlothian and completed his PhD in cattle immunology and vaccine development at the Roslin and Moredun Research Institutes in 2015. He now divides his time between teaching vet students, clinical consultancy and research. His main research interests include antibiotic use and resistance, immunology and clinical veterinary medicine.
