Alan Radford is Professor of Veterinary Health Informatics at University of Liverpool. With colleagues, he established SAVSNET (www.savsnet.co.uk), the Small Animal Veterinary Surveillance Network, that aims to better understand the diseases seen by pet animals in the UK.
