Bio

Adam graduated from the University of Liverpool in 1998 and completed a Residency in Veterinary Anaesthesia and Analgesia at the University of Glasgow in 2007, and a PhD in equine pulmonary physiology awarded by the Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences in 2021. He has published extensively in a variety of scientific journals and has lectured on the subject of controlled drug management in veterinary practice at both undergraduate and post graduate level. Adam has contributed to the BSAVA Medicines Guide, and specifically on the management of controlled drugs. Adam is a European and RCVS Specialist in Veterinary Anaesthesia and Analgesia. He is currently Head of Anaesthesia at Southern Counties Veterinary Specialists.
